Great call going with Hype on this. Similar camera angles/performance shots as the Gold Digger video. Also, the puppet imitation at 2:12 reminds me of David Byrne from Stop Making Sense

Just got this for my desk. One of my favorite movies of all time.

Personally, I could care less if Ricky was a C.O. I still think he’s good at what he does which is entertain. All these rappers are phony. I find it mind blowing that common folk think Rick actually made a quarter mill off dope even after a platinum selling album?

Saw this post over at Nah Right where Just Blaze talks about his first placement which was this. I totally forgot about this record but looking back, this beat is fire! And yo, Ma$e dancing? Was that acceptable back then? Why don’t we see more dancing rappers now? Discuss.
