No diss to Mickey because I’m sure it will be some good exposure for him, but I saw the FAIL potential for this campaign from the get go (they tried to get Wale to audition). When hip hop marketing goes wrong. Anyone else got some classic examples? That Levi’s commercial from 1996 comes to mind where the urban youths run up to Wall Street suits and scream in their face. Unfortunately I can’t find it on youtube.
