Mr. Mark Ronson let me just tell you my story…

I am constantly on your blog ( i check it like once a day for updates) and when i saw Wale was going to come to New York City, my hood, i was very excited and knew i couldn’t let this opportunity pass up since i couldn’t go when he came to SOB’s. So i tried to buy my tickets online on monday and they were sold out. I was so disappointed, i was like dam not again. Then I remember on your blog you posting that he was going to be in the Nike store. I told some people who were going to the concert are “ya going to go?” and they were like “nah, there is probably going to be a long line and Wale is probably going to be off guards.” So i was like well i don’t have a ticket so let me just try my luck. Me and my friend, after getting lost looking for this goddam store, we found it. We went straight to the back just to play it off as if we were just spectators and there our night changed. The guy behind the table said, “Hey ya want tickets to the concert tonight?” My face just lit up! I was speechless. That’s not even the best of it. As we leaving Wale approaches us and says ” Hey was up, what size is ya?” Mr. Ronson i was speechless. I couldn’t even talk. I was so star struck, being a fan, and after he handed us the boats he signed it for us and the tickets too! I was a somewhat fan of Wale before this encounter but after this i became a big fan of Wale, not only because of music but of who he represents. I personally feel as an artist the most important thing you should be able to do is connect with your fans. And i feel like Wale does do that and more. He approached us and greeted us as if we are his homies, something hard to come by but artist i have met in the past. This go go music is new to me coming from Harlem and now I am a big fan of this. I am in college right now to be a Hip Hop Journalist when i grow up. I can’t wait until that day when i can personally interview him. Tell Wale he has a big fan here in New York and i can’t wait until that album drops.
