There’s no reason I posted a picture of Princess Peach except that when I googled “peach”, she came up. Here’s the pic I should be posting
Anyway, I love peaches. They’ve been one of my favorite fruits since childhood along with apples, grapes, pears, oranges, papayas, mangos and plums. However, last night I was rather hungry around 11PM and I went for a peach in the fruit bowl in my kitchen. I devoured it within 2 minutes and went back to my computer to finish up some emails. All of a suddent my lips started stinging and the roof of my mouth started itching. I didn’t really pay much attention to it as I thought maybe I was just dehydrated, so I drank some water. Then my lips started swelling up and my throat started itching. I googled “peach allergy” and found out that I may suffer from Oral Allergy Syndrome. How much does that suck? I’ve enjoyed peaches my whole life and then all of a sudden, at 26, I’m allergic. I think I might have to just fight through this one. It’s so hard…to say goodbye…to peaches.

I posted about the Play Cloths debut this summer and I love what I’m seeing here. You can catch the back of the jacket in the clip of him and Wale performing “Back In The Go Go.”
Got these pics off the Play Cloths blog

NEW YORK – “Late Show” host David Letterman kept up a verbal assault on John McCain Thursday, saying he felt like an “ugly date” because the GOP presidential candidate backed out of a scheduled appearance on his talk show.
The night before, Letterman had said McCain’s decision to suspend his campaign to deal with the economic crisis “didn’t smell right.” Letterman substituted MSNBC’s “Countdown” host — and critic of the Arizona senator — Keith Olbermann as a substitute when McCain called him to say he wouldn’t appear Wednesday.
The talk show host was unhappy when McCain sat for an interview with Katie Couric instead of him Wednesday — and even more perturbed to learn that McCain didn’t leave New York until Thursday.
I don’t think people understand how unprofessional this kind of behavior is in any context, let alone for the Republican Presidential Candidate. He basically just shat all over a bunch of American’s jobs (from Letterman all the way on down to the production assistant on the show) and lied about it. If he hadn’t lied about it, it still would have been lame but mildly understandable. BUT HE LIED…and it wasn’t like Letterman wasn’t going to find out about it; he and Katie Couric are on the SAME NETWORK.

I saw dude play at the Jordan Classic back in April when he was committed to going to Arizona. Well, I guess plans change. CNBC reports he’s signed the first basketball endorsement deal with Under Armour, backed out of his commitment to AZ, forgetting the NBA and heading to Italy to ball. Not gonna lie, I’m a little disappointed he didn’t stick with AZ as I doubt we will get to see much of him on US television. He rocked it at the Jordan Classic and I think he’d be on a path to becoming one of the next franchise JB athletes. Don’t think they will sign him after his deal with Under Armour though. Peep the highlights:

My first talk went really well last night. I put together a powerpoint presentation however, they didn’t have the proper media hook up so I kinda just winged it. There was a group of about 30 students and they all seemed very interested which was nice. I gave a brief chronology of my experience with Wale from the beginning up until now. I then presented them with my Phase Zero pyramid (see below) and explained Phase Zero v. tastemakers v. early adopters v. followers. I explained that if they are the ones that people are always asking about the hot new shit, or if they feel like they are always up on something before everyone else, then they are probably a tastemaker and rather just look at that characteristic as a novelty, they should follow their instincts and try to incorporate that into their career after college. I told them that I was in college just 4 years ago and had no idea what it meant to “follow my dreams” and always thought it sounded corny when I was told that, however, the people who usually say that, are the ones who followed their dreams and until you do it, you have no idea what that means. I plan on refining my talk and trying to do this more often, as I think it would have done me good to hear someone like myself speak when I was in college. If you are interested in booking me to speak at your school, you can email booking@elitaste.com. I will post some video from the talk soon.

SFW stands for Safe For Work. I guess some promoter Diesel put together this video for an 18 city simultaneous party in October. Pretty genius if you ask me. Video after the hump (more…)
NOTE: The Way complained to youtube about people making fun of their video so I found this MIA remix lol “No one on the corner had swagga like us”
This video starts off kinda interesting since these people don’t look like they should be doing that dance. Also, the beat sounds like Sir Mix A Lot “My Posse’s On Broadway” (see below) meets like Destiny’s Child “Bugaboo”. Then it just gets weird and a little creepy. However, dude poppin, lockin, moonwalkin and just plain ol getting sick is really awesome…despite the fact he’s really creepy looking. And check out The Soup making fun…
Love his sense of humor
