Went out to ABH (Above Beverly Hills) at the Thompson Hotel last night for some drinks after the movie
and ran into Kenna, who I seem to be running into a lot around at LA (at Blackberry party last week, on La Brea…). Anyway, reminded me how awesome his last album was and how sick the video was. Chopped it up for an hour and then went home. Good night all around. Had dinner at this Spanish tapas spot called Cobras and Matadors on Beverly Blvd. There is a wine shop next door and it’s BYOB (always a good thing).
And finally I saw Role Models. Awesome. End gets a little corny and slow but up until then, a lot of classic R-Rated material.
Been on a movie tear recently…saw the new Guy Ritchie film (Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels) “Rock N Rolla” the other night. It was very entertaining. If you like Guy Ritchie, you will like this. Not as funny as Snatch but entertaining through the end and of course the music is awesome.
Totally late on this movie but I saw it two nights ago and thought it was very entertaining and very thought provoking. I’m not into religion at all but even if you are, Bill Maher asks some poignant questions.
Went to a screening of the new Bond flick last night and I gotta say, I thought it was fucking awesome. The first scene is a huge, action packed, hyper realistic car chase that just sets the tone for the film. Some of the reviews haven’t been that great but I think I liked this more than Casino Royale. Peep the UK Trailer above. And I’m kinda feeling this Jack White x Alicia Keyes collabo for the theme
It was supposed to be Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse…that woulda been sick.
This is really tight…got me anticipating Colin’s project! Mixtape drops Dec 1. Catch him at Highline Ballroom with Wale and Cudi on Dec 9th!

Great cover. Something I haven’t seen people talking about is the fact that the cover is actually just one half of his face and they just mirrored it. Apparently he wanted to see what he’d look like had he not been in the car accident so they took the pic, cut it in half and then just flipped it. Pretty cool. Anyone know what kind of glasses those are?
