Show was crazy. Wale and Black Thought did their joint fromt the new album in front of an over-capacity crowd at the Key Club on Sunset for The Roots 5th Annual twas the night before Grammys jam session.
Wale and Tarik did their thing but we had to bounce to the Rihanna/Ne-Yo party over at 86 in Hollywood. Our girl Jenn Laskey of Red Light Promotions took care of us despite the fact that the fire marshal was itching to shut it down. The party didn’t start until midnight. We got there around 1:45 and when we left around 2:30, the party was still cracking like it was 11PM. Inside: Jay Z, Solange Knowles, Ne-Yo, Rihanna, Evander Holyfield, Chris Brown, Nick Cannon, me and Wale lol
More pics from The Roots to come.

Last night was Mark Ronson’s Grammy party at the Roosevelt Hotel. Kenna performed, Alex Greenwald performed, Mark DJ’d, I performed. Nas was there. Sway was there. And a lot of bosses.
The LRG crew was there in full effect.

Got way too sick, picked up a lot of heat
I read something about these
Side bar: How sick is it that my manager (A) has these shoes, (B) has a display case in his living room to house them?
Stopped by The Hundreds in LA today to see Bobby and Ben. I’m really good at distracting them from running their empire. See more on their blog.
Shouts to WunMic.Blogspot.com for buying a ticket to the show early and posting it on NT

Black Thought and Questlove talk about their new album on Philly’s NBC station. Scroll ahead to 5:42. The host asks Black Thought if there’s a new artist he’s feeling. Wale is his answer. Note: Despite the fact that Black Thought says Wale is signed to Interscope, Wale is, in fact, still unsigned.
