2 Comments Attention Deficit debuts #23 on Billboard, sells 28,319 copies

Article written by the brilliant The Elitaste on the 18 Nov 2009 , in the Clients category

I’m proud. The album came out. People love it. No regrets. Wale’s the type of artist who is bigger than the metrics (radio) say
he is. That puts the label in a tough position in terms of physical distribution and because of Twitter and social media, we are able to hear direct feedback from the fans about the problems they had actually finding the CD. But people still supported and 64% of Wale’s sales came from digital outlets which makes sense for Wale. It’s a testament to Interscope and their confidence in Wale’s brand that they put the record out without a big single. Get ready for album #2. Shout out to Interscope, Allido, Roc Nation and everyone who contributed to making this possible

Eric Montealegre: Sicker Than Average from Anthony Gardner on Vimeo.

Here is Eric Montealegre’s new street video. It took a lot longer than planned because it can be hard planning around Ohio’s weather, but we found some good days to skate and film and got some good clips. Skating is all around central Ohio, Columbus, Westerville, Delaware, and Athens. Of course he has many different skates in the video because he changes them every day, but got the new Razor GLDs from Bakerized Skateshop, which you should support. Eric is also wearing Illminded Streetwear, which you should check out, the link is below.

1 Comments Video: Beyonce f. Lady Gaga “Video Phone”

Article written by the brilliant The Elitaste on the , in the Announcements category

Video is tight. Not feeling the song. I want my Beyonce x Gaga collabos to be way bigger than this. But maybe this is what Beyonce wanted. As far as female artists go, I think Gaga is the closest thing to competition for Beyonce (maybe throw Alicia in there?) and maybe she didn’t want the record to be TOO good. Also, the weird oversized MIA-esque shirt Beyonce is wearing at the end is not what’s poppin at all. I like that Gaga showed her face tho.

Directed by Syndrome. My guess is the video was supposed to be more effects-heavy (not just purple bike exhaust) but for whatever reason it didn’t work out. Not really feeling the video aside from the side boob opening shot but damn I love this song. When did she get so thick?
