Shouts to Will Smith for the internet reference during the Oscars. Was watching this in the international lounge at Sydney airport when I heard him drop this; I laughed out loud in spite of (or because of?) my delusional jet lag. Peep below for the original (worth watching the whole thing, but the dynamite goes boom at 2:28)

Got back from Australia today and picked up my dog Brady from Amanda Foundation, the place where I board him (same spot I adopted him). Mind you, I’ve had Brady for 3 years and all I knew was that he was rescued in Katrina. So I’m picking him up today and Teri, the woman who runs the place, starts telling me he’s from the 9th Ward and that the animal rescue people wrote the intersections down where each dog was rescued from. Teri said she went to New Orleans with pictures of all the dogs in an attempt to reunite them with their owners. Sadly, only one dog was reunited but she showed residents a picture of Brady and they all said he was a street dog who didn’t belong to anyone. I kinda teared up a little. Glad to have him in my life and just wanted to share that story with you guys. And I posted the Hot Boyz video because they shot most of it in the 9th Ward.
